Consistency saves time
A small set of rules prevents every flyer, slide or social post from becoming a new design project.
Start with the basics
Define colours, typography, spacing, image style and a few repeatable layouts. These choices are enough to create recognisable output.
Templates are not a limitation
Good templates create freedom. They allow people to move faster while keeping the brand recognisable.
Make decisions visible
Document the choices in simple language. People should not need to guess which font size, colour or layout to use.
Keep it practical
A design system only works if people actually use it. Start small, improve what is repeated often and leave rare exceptions alone.
